Buena Park Offers Free E-Waste, Paper Shredding and Limited Compost November 7

BUENA PARK — November 3, 2026. Buena Park and EDCO scheduled a free resident electronics recycling and document shredding event on Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Where to go

The city lists the Entertainment Corridor parking lot at 7720 Western Avenue. The event is for Buena Park residents and accepts televisions, computers, monitors, printers, phones and other listed electronics.

Paper and compost limits

Secure onsite shredding is limited to two bankers’ boxes per household. Compost and mulch are available while supplies last; visitors are asked to bring their own containers and shovel, with a three-container limit per vehicle.

Not a chemical collection day

The city excludes household hazardous waste including paint. Residents should verify the accepted electronics list and keep personal documents secure until they reach the onsite shredder.
