BUENA PARK — November 3, 2026. Buena Park Library District moved limited public services to 7300 La Palma Avenue, Building 10, in June 2026 while renovating the main library building.
Some services are unavailable
The district’s June 15 notice says the temporary location offers scheduled events, book browsing and holds pickup, but no public computer lab, seating, Wi-Fi or passport services. Its broader project description still mentions passport acceptance as a general goal, so visitors should follow the more specific updated service restriction.
What the project includes
The renovation responds in part to groundwater intrusion and aging plumbing and electrical systems, and is planned to add an expanded children’s area, multipurpose room, elevator and fire sprinklers.
When the main building may return
The district expects the temporary relocation to last approximately 18–24 months, not a guaranteed grand-opening date. Patrons can contact 714-826-4100 for active services and hours.
